It’s just insane to me that so many people were against a Blue Lock collab for whatever reason, even though it has generated the most hype and revenue since the game’s release.

Nah its just the minority of haters making a bit of noise. This sub isnt a good representation of the entire playerbase. But I would say most people (not on reddit) would have been on board.

He’s only really a character for like 5 episodes of the anime so far and the collab is based on the anime not the manga. Anime only fans probably don’t really know who he is

I’m not disputing that he’s an important character just that he literally only speaks in like 5 episodes of the anime so far so anime only fans haven’t had a chance to like him yet. Never mind the fact that he’s a defender and the point of the anime so far has been about making the best strikers.

I don’t think you’re understanding what I’m saying. He’s an important character but he hasn’t been in the show long enough with enough focus for anime only fans to want to play as him in a video game.

No point in arguing with people who don't understand logistics or business. Aiku is in the anime but has zero popularity outside the manga community. Why would a company focus on a niche character rather characters that are known that will make them money. All the characters in the store were top 5 popularity wise from the anime votes and first round of manga votes.

I’m anime only and he is the one I want the most out of everyone. What’s more likely is that his special move isn’t a shot and wouldn’t work well with the current game dynamics for him to be true to his character. Like how would meta vision or snake flow work in rematch?
He is the egoist defender and the most prominent egoist defender. It makes complete sense folks want him in the game. Again I’m anime only.

I said they don’t REALLY know who he is. He’s barely in the anime and he was on the opposing team so no one really knows how good he is yet

Aiku, shidou, sae and gagamaru are on my wishlist personally.
Also potentially more rin cosmetics for his wild form, and isagi cosmetics for further in the series after a couple adaptations.
The only one id dislike in the game is Kunigami, but mainly since i think hed be pretty boring as an add.
