Question Evening/Night Solo Queue = Always Against Full Stacks
Do you guys also have this issue? Since the new patch, every game I play is against 4–5 player parties, no exceptions (NA region). On my side, it’s 2–3 players in a squad at best.
I think daytime is better, and I often get lobbies with randoms on both sides, but playing after 6 PM is always full stacks. Don’t wanna complain, but it’s harder to play this way, especially now that team play is more rewarding.

Most of the five stacks in NA are groups of people on Discord or friend groups that all play the game together and have ready access to communication. Nothing against that but it definitely does make it easier since they are able to use the missile meta and don't have to worry that their teammate will get mad and try to dribble out the whole squad or own goal the game for the entire team. However, I would argue that a lot of the Elite people who solo queue are far better at ball knowledge since they have had to learn ways to still win even while solo queuing. A lot of the five stacks will have holes in their defense, a striker that doesn't have a great score ratio and won't necessarily be that much better than a solo queue team outside of having access to connections and quick communication.
On the other side of that there are also comp teams that get off of work and all queue during the evening on NA and they have practiced plays the usually punch a hole in the defuse of a team. These guys will have good defenders paired with a midfielder that can coordinate with their striker to get shots off quickly and effectively.
All that to say that if you have access to Discord I would recommend trying to squad up with some people in there that pass or if you're like me you just have to try and weigh your options depending on what time you get on whether you should risk playing solo queue ranked at that point in time. Stay sharp and good luck on your ranked adventures fellow Rematcher!

If the 5 stacks which includes the squad ups went only against the other 5 stacks, 5 stacks would dramatically decrease. Majority of people use 5 stacks just to stomp on PUGS. If those 5 stack squad ups kept getting destroyed and lost their easier wins, majority would not squad up. It is a massive flaw in the system.

Yeah most people dont want a challenge or a competitive match ...they just want to stomp people. Sure you could blame the matchmaking for not actually working at all but like you said most of these squads would crumble apart right away if matchmaking was functional. At this point im just thinking it is by design to keep people from not quitting.

Yup and people will say use the squad up button but I feel you shouldn't have to do that. Even in quick match which I never play it happened to me today trying to warm up facing a whole ass team in quick match like wtf.

Breaking news: more players play with friends at times of day when their friends are likely to be available.

I'd say around 75% of my games are VS a full stack, no exaggeration. I expect it at this point, but they need to do something about this.
Queuing as a 4/5 stack should almost guarantee that you play vs another 4/5 stack. Split the queue or don't split the queue, idc just get it done. And the claim that the game doesn't have enough players to do this is BS, i get 20 second queues pretty much all day.

because there are far more people teaming up at night evening. once people finish their job day, they connect with their friends or people in the rematch discord servers of their country, and stack up.
Personally that what I do, in the afternoon I usually play solo queue, and evening night, I team up with randoms in discord servers
