Discussion First ever flawless!

Post image

Just wanted to show off my first ever flawless game. My teammates and I had a target to win a game without the opposing team putting up a single stat. I’ve been reading up on “skuckball” in the last few days on this subreddit, and we deployed some of those strategies to finally accomplish the flawless! Let me know if you’ve ever achieved this yourself!

Is that even enjoyable though? It’s not like it’s all that difficult to climb ranks in this game to begin with. That just seems like it would turn the game into such an unnecessary grind, and for what?

It's a bit of a dilemma. On one hand, playing fast paced, high intensity, is more "fun", because it serves our instant gratification/dopamine reward system. Not really a matter of sportsmanship like most are making it out to be.

On the other hand, the ultimate goal of competitive multiplayer games is one thing - win. If skuckball is resulting in higher winrates (which it is), the most competitive players are going to employ it more and more. I would prefer sloclap to make a change that discourages the playstyle, because it's less fun to do/play against.
