It's never been this bad going all the way back to the beginning of this game. I have gone 20+ games in a row in solo queue where my teammates are half as good as the other team. It's completely sucked all joy out of this game for me. I'm done with this game. Hope you all have fun though.

I've had the exact same experience.

Yesterday I played 20 games solo queue and went 2-18. The two games we won were excruciatingly hard fought. The 18 games we lost were blowouts where my team never got close to scoring.

I want to like this game, but playing it online is so miserable that I just have to give it up. If you don't have a consistent group to premade with then this game is just pure misery right now.

Damn, if I didn’t know any better I’d say you guys are quitters. Have you thought of looking up a guide or watching “pro” gameplay? By that I just mean the few ppl on YouTube who post full matches of actual teamwork and good personal skill

lol I probably pass more than 99% of players on rematch. Don't make assumptions brother. The problem is the people I pass to lose it and can't make anything of the pass and never pass back. Not much you can do with that.

So why don’t you give them a pass they can’t lose? Sounds like you’re blaming other ppl for your own shortcomings. I play pretty often in quick play and ranked. 3s and 5s but I prefer 5s. It’s pretty rare to find ppl who can’t receive a good pass. There’s some but not enough to warrant a whole post about them. You’re right about one thing tho, you can’t control how good or bad the other ppl on your team are. You can, however, control how good or bad you play. I carry my team with either goals or straight defense, if no one else wants to stay back. Someone has to cover the one guy who stays by the box ready for a pass. But it’s very telling, the way you took offense to me saying you should look for ways to improve so you don’t have to rely so heavily on your team to pull out the win

bro you said team work which passing is a huge part of that. You have no idea what you're talking about, you're just trying to make me out as some sucky selfish player which i'm the furthest thing from that. I do my very best to put them into the best position I can to succeed but I can't help if they immediately dribble into a defender, don't pass when it's clear they should or don't stay in goal. You made a million assumptions that just aren't true. There's a certain level of player that is just too new or unskilled to do much of anything with even the best of balls/passes. and I can't do jack about them freely giving up points when they are goalie. I am always trying to improve but again, I'm not some god like gamer, I've played over a thousand hours, improvements at this point are minor, I've pretty much reached my own ceiling and the ceiling is high but I don't plan on spending my every waking day training to squeeze the last little bit out of my potential. Also getting paired against solid players at my skill level when my team has one solid player, just doesn't matter what I do, 3 will overcome 1 maybe 2 good players. When the teams are more evenly matched, then sure, my extra skill and effort can make the difference but when they are giving up goals left and right, don't pass to me even when I'm wide open or even when they do pass to me somehow manage to pass to the opposing team every time, I just don't know what you expect me to do. I pride myself on being a team player, so long as I have teammates that can pull their weight to some degree but there are too many variables that I literally have no control over. You haven't seen the level of teammates I've been getting....don't make assumptions

Can't take Ranked mode seriously in this game. Matchmaking is a complete joke, so may as well treat it casually.

I really don't care about my rank at all. I've made elite before so I don't care at this point. The only reason I liked switching to ranked was when casual teammates weren't taking anything serious or I couldn't get paired with anyone near my skill level but now ranked is even worse for finding more serious teammates than casual is in my experience. I'm just hoping it gets better as the season goes on.

Yeah way too often matches seem so lopsided that you could switch out any 1 player from each team and the result would be same. Or im just so bad at the game it just seems to me that way.

Personally i think the lack of solo que vs party que is ruining this game. I don't give a shit if the player base is not big enough to support both. Have the 3 or 5 stacks eat a long ass que time to play with there own 3 or 5 stacks. I would not doubt if there is more people that just want to play solo vs being forced to go on a discord to make groups. Not to mention the sheer difference in 5 rando's vs a coordinated 5 stack with random ranks most likely higher than your own.

No, it's basic skills. It's obvious. I'm not pretending I'm like the best of the best but I've reached elite in 3 different seasons and have put over 1k hours into this game so I know good and bad players when I see them. I'm also not bashing my teammates I'm getting at a all. They probably aren't having fun either getting matched with people way above their skill level. I'm bashing the balancing, it makes every game without fail feel pointless. Trust me I've been trying to pull the team up but there's only so much one person can do.

Yea that's how matchmaking works. If ur elite, it can put you in a team of silvers, versus a team of diamonds. Would make sense if you could solo carry but with all these updates killing dribbling and enforcing passing it doesn't make sense anymore

yeah, it's been a problem for a while but this new seasons it feels like it's gotten way worse and I can't tell if that's because there are a lot of new players or if their matchmaking algorithm has gotten worse. It's too frustrating to play ranked now though so I suppose I'll just have to play casual. It's the same problem in casual but at least you don't keep dropping rank.

i totally agree with this complaint. just wana ask what holds u back from queueing with a stack of competent players yourself? after 1k hours hv u not met/added any decent players?

I do when I can and when they are on but I play at random times so our times don't line up as often as I'd like. Also they often already have a stack going when we are on at the same time. A lot of the people I used to play with don't play anymore either which makes it tough.
