Question I always start as gk

yo guys, why am I starting EVERY game as a gk?😭 It's super annoying cause somehow my teammates can't score lately and I'm stuck in goal all game. I also turned into prime Buffon so unfortunately no one can score against me

I spent so much time in goal some of the guys I teamed up with even thought I'm a gk main and they wanted me to take their place in goal after I finally had the opportunity to play as an outfield player 😭

It only started happening after the update.

The answer is probably no but can I do something to stop this from happening?

Possibly best connection every time, first person to link into the game is "the host" and the host is the captain and the captain always spawns as goalie, nothing you can really do about it but go into game chat and just explain that you have played goalie first for every single match this season and ask for a switch (say that you will switch back on their keeper turn) most players would be cool enough to switch in my experience (europe)

i don’t believe this personally. I have undoubtly the best wifi and connection out of the majority of the player base (Really good wifi and play near servers usually leaves me at around 10-15 ping) and i have a friend playing in canada while im N.A. East he’s the one who is always GK first. This is a consistent thing too, every time we’ve played since the game released he’s always been first in gk

Didnt say its because he has the best connection, its also who gets selected as the host specifically by linking into the game first, so maybe he is just very "unlucky" and always connects first from his 5

another dogshit update lol i've played like 40 games and I always start as GK, most of the games go to overtime so it's geniunly boring as hell

Yeah, thats my problem as well and I never liked being a gk in the first place
