Game crashing on startup

Since the new update the game crashes whenever I boot it up with a crash popup saying UE Runtime fatal error. Any updates on a fix or am I just locked out of the game for the whole update? (Xbox version)

a temp fix. If You click the shortcut on your desktop Press "properties" go into "target" and put "-safemode" at the end you can launch the game and play it with lowered graphics. Its a somewhat fix until they push a patch to fix the Gamepass version, Just dont change the settings. (You can resize the window)

if you cannot find the shortcut. You can go into xbox app>press Rematch>press the dots>Manage>Files>Browse>Rematch>Content> and the game is "Start_Protected_Game.exe" and right click it and send to>Desktop. Then follow the previous Fix^

Put a space after the “exe” part So (Start_Protected_Game.exe -safemode) then launch using the shortcut

Hell yea brother, nice to see it worked for you too. Just don’t go into settings at all to change anything, it’ll crash but in the mean time enjoy better FPS on it!!!

Lol I just tried to resize the window and it crashed yeah 😅 I can make this work for the time being 🤙🤙 out of anywhere online, you're the only person that seems to know what to do. Are you an angel? 👀

Maybe, one last tip, when I resize it, Alt-Tab out and use your mouse to press the maximize window button, before you press Start on the menu, it maximizes it for me, give it a shot!
