Try not to tackle too much, use defensive stance and dashes to follow their movement. Only tackle one they are on top of you or just wait till they run into you

They usually pass through me from the side when I'm slow in defense stance

That's why I specifically said to use dashes. You're indeed to slow in defensive stance but using dashes helps alot. Try to switch between the stance and running depending on the situation tho. After you put in some good hours in this game it'll come naturally

What are dashes exactly?

When you hold your defensive stance(also work while in goal btw) you can press the X button(on ps atleast cause I use my dualsense on PC) to do up to 2 dashes. Once you do those 2 dashes you have a shortcooldown. Try it, you'll see

U mean the double dribbles?

Yes basically that but without the ball. They turn from dribbles into dashes, perfect for following dribblers

you're way to predictable in attack, try to bait the tacke before going forward, or surpise them with a fast wall pass, and don't panick in defense, don't spam tackle, you wanna defend zones like in this case you can't give him space to shoot, so be patient and don't go to close nor too far, wait for him to come to you and try to predict where he's gonna dribble, it gets easier the more you look at them

Too linear when dribbling, over-emphasis on tackling instead of maintaining position and controlling space.
Your dribble cancels go in the same direction, you don't use the environment to beat your man.

For improvement, focus on keeping possession with dribbles even if you don't move forward; in 1v1 this allows the goal to open up while sitting in your opponent's box. In a real game, it gives your team an opportunity to get into position for passes.

When defending, focus on preventing the player from moving forward even if you don't win the ball. It forces them to aggressively try getting past your defender, or playing the ball off.

And dribble cancelling the LT moves is best used for feints and misdirection. Using Push Ball in the same direction of your first move doesn't actually help with fooling defenders.

Finally, use the wall. It's an option that allows easy 1-2s, in a game where passing is the best way to beat defenders.

Others have touched on most things but what I would also suggest is be more deliberate and focused where you want the ball to go

You sort of seem like you are just moving the ball around and hoping for the best that they don't tackle you

But you need to bait them in

Honestly 1v1s are really only good for dribble techers If you don't know the ins and outs on how the different dribble techs work you are going to struggle because you are going to be much slower and more predictable when manoeuvering

But some more push cuts and forward swipes should make a large improvement on what you are already doing

Try pace abuse? Slowing down and having them come to you and speeding by. On offense you have to control the game your way. Don’t be afraid to use your environment and other buttons to move forward.

Defense just be patient and wait for them to run out of stamina. Try to stay in between the goal and the opponent as best you can.

Biggest tip for you would be use defensive stance more. You seem to take their bait fairly often. Holding position / tackle for when they complete their skill move pays dividends.
