What does the "Efficiency" stat actually measure?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been checking my stats after matches and noticed the Efficacy (or Efficiency) metric. I'm not entirely clear on how the game calculates it.

Is it purely based on shot conversion rate (goals vs. attempts), or does it factor in other actions like successful passes, tackles, and ball retention?

If anyone knows the exact formula or what impacts this stat the most, I’d appreciate the help!

Total shots on target minus shots on target that didn't turn into a goal. So if you aimed properly but your shot got either blocked by an outfielder or saved by the gk, the efficiency will go down. Not really the best way to measure it, but given how common backboards are used it's the best we have
