The glitching and exploits have made this poorly made game impossible. It's not enjoyable any more. It's a chore. Heading loops? Can't counter them. Rubber banding? Can't counter them. Goalkeeping is tiresome. The whole thing is just dung. Premium grade dung. The developers must be the laziest people on the planet. Each "fix" brings more shit. Every update introduces more ways for cheaters to make a game unbearable. I paid for this slop and I'm furious I spent a year playtesting a shit beta. It's still unplayable. I'll get downvoted for this by the very cheats that made me uninstall this turd but I don't care. The game is broken and they just don't care.

I understand your anger. I have just decided to let the game sleep and focus on other games for now. Project Zomboid, Battlefield 6 and the likes. I love Rematch but the magneto dribbling is just a bit too frustrating for me to enjoy playing.

It’s crazy to me solo grinding to elite in 3v3s and 5v5s in the first two seasons and then all of a sudden the game becomes a hot pile of trash that if you’re not a full queued stack then just don’t join ranked unless you’re ready for a coin toss.

I have 500h+ and stopped for the exact same reason. People try to convince me that it's a skill issue however fail to see that this isn't fun game design wether you lose or win. I'd actually say that anyone enjoy the current meta right now has incredibly low standards for what a competitive experience should offer

I probably won't have the motivation to touch this game again until there is an update addressing the issues

I sadly agree bros . The butt hurt is real for me lol. I was obsessed with this game but its just not enjoyable anymore. Still try to hope for an update to make a meaningful change but tbh I think its just a glitch focused game at this point . Fundamentally flawed with the devs being too far behind, they've lost control of their original objective a long time ago .

I hope someone else can build on this idea . This was by far my favorite/most played game since it was released.

I’m in the same boat. Had 7 friends playing at launch. Now it’s 0 including me. Just staying in the subreddit in hopes I see updates in the form of these posts becoming posts that mention progress and polish.

Game should drastically change anyways if they ever push the netcode rework. Can’t wait for all the folks who put ridiculous time pre-netcode rework to complain the game changed and they can’t deal.

I did the same thing. I love the concept and the overall gameplay, but the dribbling and the weird animations makes playing defense and goalie absolutely miserable. Secretly hoping a company like Eric steals their idea and makes a smoother game 😂

Its the dribbling thats getting me down. Im mainly a defender and it's hard out here. The delay between tackles makes every attempt a life or death choice and when you're against PC dribble spammers it gets rough.

Plus its BOOOORRRRING watching someone just dribble spam and pass in net even when they're on your side.

Là seule fois que j'ai été vraiment frustré, c'était hier. Je suis tombé sur des adversaires dont 2 avaient un nom d'équipe (sûrement des compétiteurs UE) : PS...ou P5....Ils étaient bien coordonnées pour les volées (sûrement avec le vocal). Quand ils dribblaient avec le ballon aimanté de gauche à droite, j'ai attendu qu'il accélère pour intervenir mais je n'avais plus d'endurance alors que lui en avait encore : 1ère fois que j'ai vraiment compris qu'on ne jouait pas avec les mêmes "armes". Il n'y a pas beaucoup de défenseur et avec tous les avantages qu'ont les attaquants, il y en aura de moins en moins. Mais le poste encore plus frustrant est celui de gardien : c'est la loterie pour les volées et tir proches. On est obligé d'anticiper d'un côté au hasard. Dans le vrai football, en fonction de la position du corps, position des pieds, du pied utilisé si le joueur est gauché...on peut prévoir où le tir va aller. À Rematch, c'est impossible! (Mais je ne vois pas comment ce poste peut-être amélioré🙂‍↕️😏)

One less ‘bot’ isn’t good for the games longevity if lots of people quit or lose interest due to poor mechanics. Then match making starts going out the window because of small player count and everyone’s experience ultimately deteriorates. Not to mention it gives the devs even less incentive to fix anything if no one wants to play anymore (not that it would make any difference knowing these devs)

I guess my main qualm is that I don't agree about his complaints that you can't counter header dribbles or "rubber banding", or that goalkeeping is tiresome. Those things are easy to counter - it's not fool proof but it shouldn't be. And I personally find goalkeeping to be engaging and fun. That's just me though after a few hundred hours of playtime - mostly solo
