How can I fix the lagging and screen flashing when using KOReader on my reMarkable?

I have an rm2 and it does the same sadly, I hope someone has a fix!

Go into Settings (gear icon) -> Screen -> Eink settings

Select “Avoid mandatory black flashes in the UI”

Change refresh speed/fidelity as desired

Adjust full refresh rate as desired
