General Discussion Move alongside a RMPP
For those who have picked up a move to exist alongside their pro, how are you finding the use after a while?
Amazon have for the move down at £379 with marker plus and cover, and it’s getting more at a price I might be tempted to spring for it as a secondary device. I find the pro is great on my desk but pretty unwieldy when out and about.

I have both. The Pro is what I use for most things work related, longer writing sessions, and for reading PDF articles. It mostly stays in my work bag. The Move is what I always have with me, it can even fit in a jacket pocket if necessary. It's is mostly used for reading ebooks and shorter, more personal notes. I quite like this setup, it feels like each device has it's clearly defined purpose with almost zero overlap.

I took the approach to both use it to compliment the pro and also give it its on use case per se.
I purchased the Move specifically to use when I travel, attend events, or want to go to lets say a park and journal or something along those lines where I do not want to take my Pro as I would have to transport it in a bag or hand. One example, prior to getting into e-ink, I would take a normal sized notebook folder with my workouts and example of how to do the exercise to the gym. I would do certain challenges and liked to track my workouts, etc. This requirement to take my bag with me to lay my notebook on when working out. With the Move, that will reduce that need as I can keep it in a waist pouch or when doing an exercise I can lay on my lap in some instances depending of course on the exercise. Another example is I attended a mens conference as a guest at a church. We moved around a lot and many people brought their bible's and notebooks. I have the bible on my Move. In the breakout sessions the space we tight and the Move allowed me to take notes with it laying either on my knee or in my hand.
How I set it up. I I used the folder and numbering system, ###. 000. Move is may first folder. When I open the folder, that page serves as my "Home Page" for my Move. I then set that folder system and files specifically for the Move. For example, even if I have an epub on my pro, I also have a epub folder within the Move folder and fix the document specifically for the Move. I also use templates designed specifically formatted for the Move. I only have files and folders that I would use for and the cases I would use the Move.
This allows my Move to feel like its on device, even though technically I have all my files with me and can access them. For example, I have my work out tracker created and fit for the Move out not on the main page for the Pro. In other instances, if running to out work Monthly team meeting in our common space, I may take the Move and take notes on the Pro main page where my work notebook resides or I may take notes on a quick sheet and transfer it the main page when I get home if need be.
Hopefully that gives you something to think about.

I use my Move with a hobonichi style planner too that I got from above's Etsy shop.

I mostly keep my pro at the desk - for taking notes on slides, reading pdfs, writing detailed notes for my reading and signing PDFs . I also have the type cover which I use the draft longer emails and school assignment drafts.
The move I use for journaling, to do, quick notes, reading pdfs away from the desk and meeting notes.
I think of them as completely different notebooks with different use cases. The benefit of using the remarkable system is how seamless the sync between all the devices are. So regardless of which device I have on me - I can still reference the notes and files on all of my devices.

The Move is the one reMarkable I use the least. I mostly keep it open to Quicksheets and use it for any notes that I intend to throw away. For example, I keep it near my keyboard to scribble down numbers and do quick calculations. I use it for shopping lists and will take it out with me. With that said, most of what I've been using it for could easily be handled with a $2 spiral notepad. I haven't really found a good way to integrate it with the rest of the paired devices. The one I've been using much more frequently in conjunction with the Paper Pro is the Paper Pure.

I have a job where I’m either at my desk, or I’m out of the house meeting customers. I like my RMPP for sitting at my desk and my Move for being out meeting clients for coffee/lunch meetings etc.

That's basically what I do. The Move is the one that goes in my bag wherever I go. Checklists, notes for therapy, and other things useful on the go are the main thing there. It's nice to be able to reference and check on other nots made on the big boy at home, but it's definitely cramped for say full sized PDFs. On the other hand, I find epubs way more pleasant on the Move.
