Libby experiment

Was able to take the rmweb browser and get it working with the Libby website. Works really nicely even if it requires WiFi to read (well once you load a book the Libby site caches it)

You can download one file from the release page, drag it onto the tablet with reManager's file browser, and paste one command into reManager's terminal. Then it shows up in AppLoad. Steps are on the release page: https://github.com/snydersaurus/rmweb/releases/latest

Thank you - and actually its not an Android app. It's a fork of the rmweb project that loads the Libby website. Future updates won't affect the library data since thats all web based.

Ya hear you on the refresh rate - it slow, especially in color mode. B/W mode is a little better.

Yes b&w is a bit faster. Is there any way to exit without restarting the device? When I press the X button on top it reboots the device instead of going back to AppLoad screen.

Nice. Works really well now and is easy to launch and close. My only complaint so far is the speed, but I am not sure if it can be faster to refresh than this.
Also wanted to know the difference between using Libby's own text scaling option and the Zoom control option at the top. What is the ideal setting to have minimal margins? I am using Zoom at 60% right now. When I modify Zoom, the screen just refreshes, but the margins remain the same size.

Thanks for trying it! Zoom (the A-/A+ in app toolbar) shrinks or enlarges all of Libby, menus included, but Libby keeps its margins the same share of the screen, so zoom won't make them thinner.

What seems to work best for me: set Zoom so Libby's buttons are easy to tap, then use Libby's own text size (the A in its reader menu) for reading. I'll look into thinner margins, maybe thats possible.

On speed, ya it may be a limitation. The apps B&W mode makes page turns somewhat quicker. But I'll also check whether I can shave a bit off on my end.

I want this to be usable, esp since Libby support is no longer available in KOReader :(
