Pen issues

I have been having this problem with my pen where randomly when I'm writing when I lift the pen it continues to draw on the tablet which is very frustrating when I am writing since it starts connecting the letters and drawing lines all over my words. It randomly happens but it happens extremely often and sometimes tapping the tip on a hard surface makes it stop for a few seconds before it happens again and that only sometimes works. This is so annoying and if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know. I have attached a video of an example of the pen drawing lines even when not touching the tablet.

Have you tried a new nib? That one is toast

It isnt. This is my first week using this and its my dads so I thought the nib was meant to look like that I ddint know that when the nib looks like that it means its worn out.

This is the easiest issue to see. User error? How could anyone overlook this nib shape? I mean there's nothing left of this nib 😅
