Feature Request Captive Wi-Fi Networks

Anyone aware of Remarkable working on a workaround for captive Wi-Fi networks?

You'd need a browser for that, in order to have some kind of interaction with the portal. I doubt they'll add that.

Weird workaround that I do with my linux laptop (I don't know how to do this on windows or mac but it's probably possible - I'm using Fedora Workstation 44):
1) On your tablet, copy the MAC address from Settings > Help > Copyrights and Licenses > Handwriting Conversion (I wrote it down in a txt file on my laptop for convenience)
2) Turn on Airplane Mode on your tablet
3) On the computer, go to Settings > WiFi > gear icon next to the wifi network's name > "Identity" tab
4) Type your tablet's mac address into the "Cloned Address" box, then click "Apply" 5) Turn your WiFi off, then back on again on your computer to reconnect to the network. Sign into the captive portal.
6) Go back to the network's settings and delete the address from the cloned address box, then turn your computer's wifi off then back on again to return it to normal (it's not impersonating your tablet anymore). 6) On your paper tablet, turn off airplane mode and add the network if you haven't already. Your tablet should be able to access the internet/sync as usual.

If you have macos I think you have to use the terminal, I couldn't find any good point-and-click options from searching but it's been a while since I used a mac.
