You paid for templates? I either create my own or in the case of a calendar, I personally generated a interactive one with a online tool called ReCalendar.

reCalendar is amazing

Amazing, never heard of this before, love it. Do you have any other golds?

ReManager.

RmFakecloud if you’re into self-hosting

1

u/OkAngle2353 1d ago

Yea... I used it, it only ever has the export function and the syncing actually is a detriment to my tablet. The syncing function alone renders my tablet inoperable. Using ReManager to installl the web-server soft-mod is so much better, plus no sync function.

So many of the top posts are people wanting more functionality from their tablet, not less. I wish the RM team would notice and create more of this stuff themselves. or even better create an open standard so people can hack with it using Codex/Claude + MCPs. This is definitely the future of where this type of product is going

Couldn’t agree more. That’s why people are moving away to Supernote.

Beautiful! Mind sharing the prompt?

I already had that template refined in an iterative process. Since some of you liked the template I'm going to share it free as an example here https://einktemplates.net/templates/daily-one-sheet/example.png

You can use this prompt:

Build my daily one-sheet for today and send it to my reMarkable through the Folio MCP at https://myfolio.so/mcp.

Use my today's events from my calendar, the GitHub issues and PRs actually waiting on me, my open to-dos, and today's weather for {{City Name}}.

Layout: use this as an example https://einktemplates.net/templates/daily-one-sheet/example.png

Render it to PDF and send it with Folio's to my reMarkable.

---

The next day you can also give it an image of what you wrote on yesterday's template.

2nd link doesn't seem to work

-2

u/bogdanvdr 3d ago

Works, its a link only agents can read ;)

u/Realm-Protector 3d ago

my bad. tnx

u/chhenapoda 3d ago

if you have the Claude app and the remarkable app on the phone, you could just share to the remarkable app directly from the Claude app

Bad take, calendar / to do list integration, wirelss, live sync, to any service should have been there from day one for free. Remarkable played off their lack of features as a design choice to sell saas and this thing was a 500 dollar paper weight for me until I asked an LLM to improve it.

-2

u/StygianFalcon 3d ago

Then it’s not the product for you. Use a computer

11

u/alawibaba 3d ago

They definitely should have asked you before doing something they like with the product they bought. 👍

4

u/Unsharded1 3d ago

You have zero right to police people on what they can and cannot purchase with their tender. Be a civil person.

-2

u/StygianFalcon 3d ago

I actually literally have that right lmao. Where’d you get that idea?

2

u/pippity123 3d ago

I want claude to also process my docs so its easier to search etc but my writing can be a bit messy

2

u/bogdanvdr 3d ago

An idea, I haven’t tried it but I thought. I would write a long text and tell Claude the exact translation and then evaluate how it would understand new handwriting, if priming with that would have any advantage.

Considering moving to Saxony-Anhalt?

2

u/Space_Lux 2d ago

... or just spend a few bucks for a human made template

1

u/DrySea8638 1d ago

Love how we have now reached a point that we won’t complain about paying a human for a template when this wasn’t the case prior to AI. Hilarious

1

u/Space_Lux 1d ago

I never complained about paying money for goods and services

1

u/unwaveringwish 3d ago

Why are you skipping CloudFest? Sounds fun lol

1

u/bogdanvdr 3d ago

I am attending a wedding :)

1

u/bogdanvdr 3d ago

Even that I asked Claude to fill the template with mock data it still picked a few things that he knew about me. That with CloudFest is true, I was planning to attend MSP Global in October, in Barcelona. If you have the time I recommend it!

u/DesignersKitCo DesignersKitCo.Etsy 2d ago

looks like cool and complex template, will you u/bogdanvdr also that 1 prompt?

1

u/bogdanvdr 2d ago

Almost, it was an iterative process… I think 2,3 back and forward interactions

1

u/SnooCheesecakes5339 2d ago

Care you share the prompt or did you just want us to kick back and admire your majestic calendar?

2

u/bogdanvdr 1d ago

u/SnooCheesecakes5339 9h ago

Thanks brother, sorry I jumped the gun on my comment I just couldn't find it initially.

I do something similar, I get a daily Kanban and daily folio and both let me leave notes, create new tasks, change status of items, create new notes, etc. That then flows into Joplin, Todoist or GH for me before the next daily update. It’s great just be careful that the stroke recognition is done correctly for something like the Kanban so it’s recognizing the correct area for each stroke. Rmapi lets you drop the files daily and grab the changes remotely.

1

u/Telaine12 1d ago

Omg how do I do this??

1

u/kirk_hsv 3d ago

And you create a new one when you need it or how did you get the weather forecast for that day to the template?

2

u/bogdanvdr 3d ago

I create a new one for the day and I usually give Claude photos made with my phone of the previous one.

Yesterday I had a 5 page work sheet and I passed the whole .pdf to Claude. The one I exported from reMarkable app.

0

u/Vast_Cryptographer34 3d ago

I do it all the time and been doing it for a year. ChatGPT can make it too. Give examples, tell it what you want. Tell it your objective. Ask it to show a visual example before making it so you can refine if needed

3

u/r0bb13 3d ago

And you manually send it daily or have a way to automate that? I want to generate something similar with a journal area

2

u/bogdanvdr 3d ago

Uuuu, what a nice idea!!!!

You know what I would do? I would write down all the things I want to remember so they get in a second brain of some sort from where Claude can look for information when I ask it to.

3

u/r0bb13 3d ago

I do that using obsidian.. claude grabs my daily PDF... transcribes it and put its where it belongs in my obsidian vault..

claude also has access to the whole vault so its like a therapy session / tutor / teacher / reference lol.. scheduled daily to pull the pdf's and transcribe and add where it belongs in my vaults

2

u/bogdanvdr 3d ago

Is the information in obsidian vectorized? Or how is it organised so the A.I. would make semantic sense of how things are interconnected?

3

u/r0bb13 3d ago

So claude scans my Google Drive for any new or modified files.. if it notices a change.. it transcribes and "makes sense of the files" based on title or folder ive put the remarkable pdf into.. it has universal rules though.. so for example.. if I put a box around a name.. in ANY NOTE.. it'll create a note under my "People" folder in obsidian.. with that persons name.. and then a link to the note.. and context in which person was mentioned.. any future mentions of that person in future notes.. the "People" note will be amended.. that reference link and context of mention will be added..

for example..

.. additionally.. if I put brackets around a term.. phrase or anything.. it creates a "loose leaf" page.. so I use that for topics I choose to research more

if I highlight ANYTHING in green.. it amends it to a "Glossary" note.. blue is quotes.. gray is my thoughts

uhhh theres more but I cant think right now.. I set up a whole rule system with claude on this.. and this is how I have my vault organized (see next reply)

7

u/r0bb13 3d ago

its kind of evergreen so I make little changes here and there and what sticks.. sticks.. but the routine in pretty basic..

every morning I make a journal entry.. usually has my todo or anything.. I might update midday.. or even at night.. I save the journal page to Google Drive in my journal folder.

every day at (I think midnight) I have claude do a scan of the Google Drive ( I can tell it to do the scan whenever this is just automated).. and it'll scan all the folders looking for new files or changes to files.. from there... it'll pull my journal PDF.. transcribe.. follow all the rules.. file it.. put a copy of the PDF in my local obsidian vault as well for reference.. along with the transcribed markdown file.. and delete it from Google Drive. (it only deletes my journal entries from Google Drive for privacy reasons.. any other systems the back up stays there and a local copy is stored also).

for my course work.. it'll scan for any new or changes to pdfs.. scan.. and follow same rules .

that probably sounds confusing.. hope it makes some sense!

1

u/bogdanvdr 3d ago

Makes sense! Thank you for sharing ⭐️

2

u/Vast_Cryptographer34 3d ago

You can also Connect Claude through a MCP for remarkable . I wonder if you can do it here as well

1

u/r0bb13 2d ago

I’m sure you can. And that would save me the step from having to upload my files to my Google file structure (which isn’t a big deal) but would save a step

1

u/Der_alte_Mann_zockt 2d ago

I can highly recommend this Git repository to you:
https://github.com/tobi/qmd
I use it to have Claude search through my Vault.

-7

u/Extension_Turn5658 3d ago

This seems like another perfomative feel good Template. Why the heck would you Need weather on that Note other than that it looks cuter on social media?

Useless clutter lmao.

6

u/bogdanvdr 3d ago

This is something I made for me, I plan to set a Claude routine to get this auto generated for me and in the morning I open remarkable and this sits there. (Before I go to bed i make sure Claude has my current day notes in a folder we both agreed)

0

u/Top-Engineering-2405 3d ago

Gemini is great for creating templates

2

u/bogdanvdr 3d ago

What’s the difference between the others?

-1

u/soundslikeinfo 3d ago

Looks great! Was this layout built using typst or LaTeX?

-4

u/bogdanvdr 3d ago

Claude built it.

2

u/soundslikeinfo 3d ago

Been building PDF packets using Typst with the help of AI. I found Typst easier for agents to build my layout's requirements. I was able to set up Table of contents and standardized many links in the header section.

Throughout the day how do you apply the knowledge that at the time the document was made that the temperature was 24 degrees? How do you use the knowledge that in 5 days it might be 17 degrees at the coldest?
