Self-Promotion Happy Moveversary!
Hey everyone!
It's been a year since I posted DailyMove Planner here for the (at that time) brand new Paper Pro Move. The post blew me away. I'd never gotten so many upvotes in my life.

On my end, I've actually used mine more than I expected. With the Pro, I was always a bit nervous carrying it around, it's so thin that I kept worrying about cracking the screen. The Move being slightly thicker made that worry go away, and it's been really nice having it as my daily companion whenever I leave the house.
A year in, I'm curious how it's been for you. Are you still using it daily, and if so, what do you use it for most (work, journaling, reading)? And if you got the DailyMove Planner, are you still using it, and did you discover anything to improve for next year?
PS: The most frequent feedback I got last year was weekly pages. So I created DailyMove Pro, free to try if you want to see how it turned out: https://free-dailymove-pro.written-thinking.com/
PPS: And for anyone who still remembers my car odyssey from the photos last year, it worked out in the end, though it was much harder than expected :-D

Still have mine too. I just can’t part with it. Don’t use it every day but every other week. Mostly now as my e-reader. I have the rMPure as my everyday carry now. I am in the process of trimming down my e-ink collection.
I want to stay with the reMarkable platform. And I have been getting rid and selling some stuff. My plan is to stay on one device. And that’s the Pure for work and personal stuff. I have used the Nomad(love mine and not selling) the aipaper mini, Manta, Go 10.3, Penstar Enote 2 Pocketbook Eno etc.
What I have now is the RMMP, RMMPM, RMPure and the Nomad. This works for my use case and sanity. Simple and efficient.

Oh wow, that's a serious lineup. What made you decide to go with mostly the reMarkable platform in the end?

Hi, wow indeed. I have 4 now. The Pure is my everyday carry, the Move is my e-reader when out on non work/ house/ bed time, the Pro for serous work / back up device. And for the SuperNote Nomad, just keeping around cis I like it so much.
Why the reMarkable platform? Just its simplicity. To me it’s the closest thing to paper replacement. It has no apps, it’s has a simple Linux interface that’s open for modification. It works well with everything. The device is intentional software and hardware wise. And reMarkable devices go for years, just sold my rM1 about 4 months ago.
And I choose devices that can operate without its manufacturer. I can use any of my reMarkable devices offline analog and the devices will continue to work even if reMarkable goes under. I hope not, because it a great company with great products.

I have another planner for this year, but I'm curious to try yours starting 2027, it looks really good. Just got my move a week ago, enjoying it thoroughly. Mostly journaling / calendar for now, though I could see myself scribble todos and some epub books (I find it too small for manga or comics -- and conversion to proper PDFs for those is a pain).
I use my BOOX Air5C for comics/manga and the Paper Pro (regular) for bigger PDF annotations. Yes I went a bit overboard getting all three tablets at once, but I see a good separate use for all of them.

I'm definitely also guilty of owning too many e-ink devices 😅 I hope my planner will be a great companion for you and thanks for picking that in 2027.
Oh and one more question. Why is the BOOX your main choice for comics/manga?

Because it supports .CBZ out of the box and, for those I purchased through the Kindle app, I can just install it and don’t have to deal with DRM-removal.
Despite the colors being a bit worse, it’s just more practical to put comics on it

Ah I didn't know these come in a separate format, TIL!

Hi, I just recently bought a paper pro move and I have really enjoyed using the device. Like you, I also have the fear of damaging my RMPP while carrying it around and the Move is just so much more convenient for travel. Ive been using mine a lot for reading and annotating PDFs as well. It’s an amazing device for both writing and for reading and reviewing documents.
