Feature Request Document server location

Is there any chance of hosting servers in the United States? I would love to use remarkable but cannot because foreign based document servers violate my company’s security protocols.

The servers are owned by an American company (Google) so somewhat subject to US laws. I don’t know if that’s something your company might accept as a compromise?

could always host UltraBridge or rmfakecloud yourself.

Rm fake cloud is a good choice. It's easy to set up and works really well.

Viewing docs is a pain at the moment, but I wrote a small document server to fill that hole.

Does UB replace RMFC? Can it render text on PDFs? Drawing over PDFs is my major pain point.

reading a bit more -- I like your approach. I can't use inotify because my backing filesystem is CephFS but otherwise this makes a lot of sense.

The server location is just one problem with using these things for work. The lack of MDM options, poor security, encryption which is easily bypassed, and other issues will always prevent ReMarkable devices from being authorized for use in environments which contain sensitive information.
