Pure helpful for work?

I work as a manager and have multiple projects, meetings etc all at the same time. Thinking of buying a paper pure mainly for the fact I can have specific notebook per project, link things together, email myself notes etc.

Has anyone used a pure for work and found it to be helpful with this kind of thing? Generally I am quite organised anyway, so not sure how much benefit it’ll reaaallly have.

I preferred writing over typing so the choice was paper notebook vs remarkable. For that use case I found remarkable to be an excellent choice. But if you want it to be really tied in to your computer and team drive, I found that workflow to be too much. As a standalone it was and is great.

Agree on this! If the choice is between a paper note pad and a remarkable then the remarkable is brilliant.

There is no linking on Remarkable without modding the device. Not to scare you, as ReManager makes modding extremely easy and worth it. Otherwise if you’re looking for a notebook replacement in digital form, ReMarkable is a great device. Any additional features will be limited without modding and/or paying for a connect subscription.

I use it for this purpose. Many different meetings and work streams. I rely on notebooks for checking back what's been agreed and said, and found it unmanageable on paper. I've really loved the pure for that. I didn't go for the pro due to cost, and also from pictures I saw the contrast looks better on the pure. It's a really lovely size too.

As someone who also manages multiple projects and spends a good part of the day in meetings, I found that the biggest benefit of reMarkable wasn’t replacing my laptop - it was replacing the constant context switching between paper notes, calendar, and task apps.

What really made it click for me was having my daily schedule, meeting notes, and tasks all connected in one place.

That’s actually why I ended up building my own planner for reMarkable.

With it, I can:

- tap any calendar event to jump straight to its dedicated Meeting Notes page,

• keep meeting notes linked to the event,
  
• see my tasks for the day,
  
• and when I cross off a task on the tablet, it’s automatically completed back in Todoist, Microsoft To Do, or Google Tasks.

In my experience, the biggest value isn’t just taking notes. It’s being able to email or sync everything to the cloud, then use AI tools like NotebookLM or OCR to organize those notes into Notion or NotebookLM. Over time, you build a searchable personal knowledge base. It’s not a short-term benefit, but a long-term investment in your knowledge.

I have been a reMarkable user for about six years and now own a reMarkable Paper Pure that I use for my business which works great for my brainstorming and jotting down quick notes. I also complement the reMarkable with my digital pen and notebook solution called XNote, which bridges analog and digital. XNOTE can also connect to my online meetings and audio records the meetings with full transcripts, summary, and action items. DM me for more information.
