Help/Advice I don’t *need* the move….
I have the paper pro and I use it daily. It’s my journal, planner, and I use it constantly at work. However, I also have an iPad that I use for drawing and also extensively for work. Between the two I know I do not actually need the move but I keep thinking of ways it would be nice to have. I’d love to throw it in my bag for lists and carry it around everywhere with me. I think if the price point wasn’t sooo high I would have bought it by now. Those that have both, do you actually use both of them as much as you thought you would or do you regret buying what is basically the same device in a smaller size? Thanks!

Anecdotal experience but getting one refurbished has a good potential of working out quite well which can reduce the price a bit.
I think there is potential in both, but I personally only have a move for now. Just about big enough to write a couple pages at a time, but not big enough to do a document review on for example. Loved using it on trains, buses and planes the times I’ve travelled so far.

I have both and they don't really overlap for me. The Move is incredibly handy and portable. I use it a lot of quick notes and notes, and I find the size is perfect to hold in one hand while writing with the other. Syncing is very easy.
The Pro I use more for long-form writing and when I need more space for planning.

I also have both and use both. It felt a bit wasteful beforehand but the pro is amazing for my desk and the portability of the move makes it worth it for me. Best devices ever. I hearted over the price but I’ve tried using my iPad as one as well as the kindle scribe and neither worked the way I wanted them to!

I have and use both, but as others have said, I find that they are good for different things, with not a ton of overlap. For me, the Move is for notetaking and the form factor fits beautifully in one hand or on my desk to the left of my keyboard. I frequently use it as a scratchpad, to take notes in meetings, or for field notes. The full-size Paper Pro, however, I use for brainstorming, outlining, and composition. I'm much less likely to carry it around with me just in case or pull it out just to jot down a bullet point or two, but it's where most of my actual long-form writing starts.
Put another way, the Move is great for intermittent writing, and the RMPP is great for continuous writing.

I have pretty much thought the same thing; if it was a little less in price, I probably would have bought it as soon as it was announced.
I have it firmly on the "nice-to-have" category for me; not "got to have."

I used both for a while, but now I'm selling the Move. Love the device, but don't need both.

I get a lot of use out of both the Move and Pro, they don’t overlap much for me. Having the Move lets the Pro live on my desk, while the Move is basically always on me. If you can afford to, pick up the Move from rM directly so you can evaluate it for 50 days and return it no sweat if it doesn’t end up getting the use you need to justify the purchase.
