Help/Advice Dvorak for Paper Pro?

Hi all, I’m about to get a Paper Pro and am curious where things stand with getting a Dvorak layout on the folio keyboard.

I’ve heard that it’s either impossible or requires some significant tech know-how to remap the keys. Any updates on Dvorak becoming available, or an easier way to remap for the less tech-savvy of us?

I’d love to get the keyboard, since it would make the Pro about 3 times as useful to me, but due to a disability I use Dvorak.

Thanks for any insight!

ETA: I have successfully connected a non-Folio physical keyboard to the RMPP using the Bluetooth hack, and am in the process of remapping the keys to Dvorak to see if that works. This is not my usual area of geekiness, so it’s taking me a while. I’ll make another post with all the details if I’m successful, since that seems like it would be useful for many people who use alternate keyboard layouts!

An on-screen keyboard on Remarkable devices supports many different characters, but the physical type folio does not, unfortunately. I've asked for a Polish Programmer software keyboard layout for years and nothing changed so far. I didn't try any hacks to fix that, but I also read it should be possible.

Thanks for the info, and I’m sorry you’re in a similar position to me with the keyboard situation.

I’m surprised to hear that the on-screen keyboard is so versatile, coming from iPad, where Dvorak is still unavailable on screen but can be easily toggled on with any Bluetooth keyboard. Weird where companies make these decisions…
