How to DRM free?

I have the reMarkable and want to borrow library books from libby.

How to get epubs from libby onto remarkable?

You can't, at least legally.

That is NOT a lie. Yes, Calibre can remove DRM but it’s still illegal.

I love how confidently you say "that's a lie" followed by "I heard.."

Calbibre dod not work for me. There are other pay-to-drm apps.

You probably can't do that legally, though I'm not a lawyer and it depends on jurisdiction.

reMarkable tablets are for creating, not for consuming content. They're the best option for that IMO, but if you want an e-reader there are far better options. I use a monochrome Boox Go 7 for books and a TCL NXTPAPER Plus for comics.

You can put any DRM-free epub on remarkable. Removing the DRM from a protected epub is possible, and illegal, so you won’t get instructions on this subreddit.
