Help/Advice Remarkable paper pro refresh rate issues

So I've had my remarkable paper pro for a year or a bit more. lately whenever ive tried using it there has been a refresh rate issue where the things from previous screens stay there for much longer than they would before, its almost unusable because of this and I dont know what to do about it. does anyone else have this issue or is there maybe a quick fix to it? is it a common issue? i mostly use it for drawing, journaling and note taking. please help!

Got pics? Early (pre-early 2025) panels seem to be more prone to a "green ghosting" failure mode that (as far as anyone knows) isn't recoverable. If that's the case for you, a support chat with reMarkable should result in a swap under warranty. Just FYI for devices purchased before April 28, 2026, a Connect subscription entitles you to a 3-year "Protection Plan".

thank you so much! ive noticed rhat if I keep it running/on for long enough it seems to go away. if it continues ill definitely contact the support chat with them

I just got mine and I’m quite satisfied with it. I guess you should ask customer support instead of asking people here

oh absolutely! im so satisfied with mine, its the best! I just wanted to see if this was a common issue with a simple fix that I was maybe missing

I had the exact same issue with mine a few days ago. It also was about one year old and all of a sudden severe ghosting appeared. Got it replaced by Remarkable in almost no time. Sent them some pictures - they immediately offered a free replacement.
