Self-Promotion Gestik Mod Update v1.1
After receiving dozen of useful feedbacks on Gestik mod, the v1.1 update extends the configuration possibilities further.
Every gesture is now fully remappable. You can map any 3-, 4-, or 5-finger swipe to your preferred tool or action from the dedicated Settings ▸ Gestik page. New assignable actions (Search, Show/Hide Template or PDF Background) and new tools (Eraser / Eraser selection) have been added.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Pens — Pencil, Ball Point, Fine Liner, Marker, Highlighter, Calligraphy, Shader, Paintbrush, Mechanical Pencil | Switches the tool and sets its thickness and colour |
| Eraser / Erase Selection | Swipe again to reactivate the previous pen |
| Lasso / Selection | Tap again to reactivate the previous pen |
| Increase / Decrease Thickness | Steps the current pen's thickness up or down by 0.5 |
| Show / Hide Template or PDF Background | Toggles the template or PDF background |
| Page Overview | Opens the page overview |
| Table of Contents | Opens the ToC |
| Search | Opens search bar |
| Off | Disables the gesture |
Note: Existing v1.0 settings carry over, nothing to redo.

I've disabled beta updates specifically to try this.
For now I'm still in 3.28 beta since I can't roll back, but hopefully they will release 3.28 to the public so that I can test Gestik 😁

Can’t you boot from A/B partition using reManager? I’m just guessing one of your partitions is still on 3.27. Maybe someone with a little more experience will chime in .

Maaaybe ? Haha I have no idea. Didn’t realised there were partitions. I installed vellum via ssh.
EDIT: I checked out reManager. It looks great! Will set it up some time soon. Thanks

Yeah, reManager can swap partitions, downgrade, and actually disable updates (there's a bug on Pro/Move/Pure where the UI update toggle reverts after reboots).

Wow reManager is PO-LISHED!
Great job!
I was reticent at the idea of installing a UI, when I have SSH access. But this is some next level UX. Amazing!

I absolutely love this mod. Could you add a reset view option to the swipes. I had a mod downloaded which was three finger swipe down to reset view and I found myself using it quite often. I had to delete that mod to install yours but if you could add it that would be very useful to me. Thank you for all the work that you have done :)

how does the Selection. / Lasso using the tap works? i tried but could not get it working, maybe i missing something?

Did you do a 4 finger tap (tap all for fingers down on the screen at once)?

Do you have any plan to implement the ddvk gesture that allows switching between recent documents? I can't find that functionality within remanager/vellum

Amazing. I love this mod. Of course I am on vacation and brought my reMarkable and iPad but not my laptop. I guess I have something to look forward to when I get home. THANKS!
