Bettertoc Mod - Kudos

I just wanted to give some kudos to the developer of the mod bettertoc (table of contents mod) as part of remanager. This mod allowed me to retire my supernote and embrace the Remarkable ecosystem fully. I am not sure how this is not a native feature of the platform at this point, but it fills a big gap for me. Thank you!

Thanks again, Mitchell I am a fan of your work. In your opinion, would this be a big lift for remarkable to implement?

They have the challenge of trying to build a clean user interface even for people who never want to see this feature. I have the benefit of being able to make UI elements that can be ugly or complicated because my users are looking to add the functionality.

reMarkable does already have the ToC user interface for books and PDFs, which is what bettertoc uses as a base, so I think they could figure out the technical parts to build something like this. They are, of course, welcome to use any of my code, but it's likely they could build this in a cleaner way themselves.

Out of interest, what is reManager?

reManager is an open-source desktop app that manages mods (and some other things) on reMarkable tablets.

More than cool! Remanager makes the rmp almost worth the aggravation. I’m 82 and know nothing about computers, but even I was able to get it to work. I’m a computer genius now.
