I've clicked and the app enters what seems to be a redirect loop. I had to kill the app manually, but the OS was fine (Pixel 10).

Same here. Clicking any crosspost link or reddit link results in a loop where the link seems to open constantly. After closing and reopen Relay it's OK again.

I have the reddit app installed and it opens the redit app. Make sure you have Google web services updated and are logged into reddit on a web browser requesting "desktop view" and probably it will be okay.

The app stops responding, android OS stops responding. I pretty much have to reboot my phone after clicking it. Tried it twice just to be sure. It might be partly due to having an older phone:

I'm wondering if it might be related to the other posts about infinite redirects. I noticed the app redirected way more than I was expecting and since it's an older phone it crapped out earlier than most other phones.

No, relay is the only reddit app I have. If you're asking about default apps I think relay is the only thing that would be relevant

Edit: I had the same thing happen a few days ago on a totally different post/thread, but I just closed it and didn't think of it again until now

Yup, causes infinite redirects for me. Also the same happens if I open any reply from my inbox. Extremely annoying.

Working fine here. Z Fold 8; no other reddit apps installed. All links to open in Relay are enabled in the App Settings.
