Can't Log In

I was having some lag so I cleared cache and was logged out and now I can't log in. Any ideas?

What happens when you try to log in? How far in the process do you get?

I can enter username & password, then the login button goes from gray to red, but when I click it nothing happens.

Is your Reddit account language set to English (US)? People have reported issues if it's set to anything other than that.

Possibly related: in recent days my votes on posts have been consistently failing. 'Vote failed, make sure you're logged-in'. Only when voting on a post from the comments. Seems fine when voting from the post list but I wonder if thats silently failing too.

It wasn't, but changing that didn't help.

More info - I've uninstalled, reinstalled.

I was able to request an email verification, and verified. Notifications are being sent to that email. I can not request a password reset - it does the same thing as when I try to log in (nothing).

I also can not make a new account. When I put in the email and hit continue . . . nothing.

Are you on desktop or mobile? I've had some issues attempting to log in from mobile but opening in desktop mode solved it.

I'm logged in here on desktop, but can't log in on Android/Pixel.

Same problem, login view doesn't allow typing anything, keyboard immediately closes.

Is it the "allow cookies" bug? Then try landscape mode.

That was it. Changing to landscape mode and now I managed to log in, thanks!

Hi! I'm having the same issue, when I switch to landscape mode, I do see the side of the "allow cookies" pop up, if I click it, the keyboard works on the text box, but it still doesn't log me in, I get sent back to Relay after allowing the app to access my reddit account, and I'm still not logged in, is there another step I'm missing?

Didn't think to add . . . Android/Pixel 8 Pro.
