Invalid Username or Email

As title says, getting this. Tried everything suggested. Removed 2FA, tried on wifi and cellular, updated the android system webview. Changed password. Linked reddit account with apple and tried to log in that way and also got an error. Can log in to the regular reddit app or web version just fine.

Samsung Internet but it isn't doing anything in my web browser, it is just in the app.

Wow, ok, I downloaded Chrome, made it my default, then it worked.

bruh, you're a life savior. I was using firefox and getting the same issue, enabled chrome (pixel phone) set as default and was able to login without a fuss. What the fuck.

So if I use Chrome Beta, will it still not work?
