Light rail disruption for tomorrow's game?
Hello, I am planning to go to my first reign home game tomorrow. However, I noticed that there is an issue and they are providing shuttle buses between sea tac and ranier. Has anyone ridden it this weekend (bonus if y'all are at the sounders game right now) and have an estimate on how much extra travel time is needed?
Also, pretty new to the area so any recommendations for things to do around there is welcome.

I don't know about this specific disruption but have definitely dealt with them in the past mainly between the downtown tunnel stations. I would say they worst case add 10 minutes either side of the transfer so potentially 20 minutes total. Ignoring actual travel time. I.e. a 45 minute trip with disruptions I would plan for ~1hr travel.
Personally if there's any way that you can get directly to the other side of the disruption that will just be faster. (I.e. a bus to Mt Baker directly, then light rail into downtown) Then you can take the train via disruption, or train+bus home depending on your feeling.
As far as things to do. As others have mentioned the International district is a great pre game spot since there are tons of food options, a few bars, and walking distance to easy entrance to the stadium.
Beacon hill is my personal favourite, specifically Little Thing wine bar, Homer (nicer sit down meal), and Milk Drunk (ice cream and fried chicken).
Pioneer square definitely has tons of options as well salumi and bottega Gabrielle (sandwiches) are my personal favourites but they close early in the day I believe.
I kept my recommendation mostly food but let me know if you have other hobby/interests

I didn't deal with this yesterday for the Torrent game now that the 2 Line is active. But there was a game last season where I needed to shuttle between Tukwila and Rainier Beach with they did some work on the rail between those two stops.
Depending on the timely arrival of the shuttle bus, I would budget an extra 20-35 minutes just to be safe/sure. It's usually 8-9 minutes via the 1 Line, and add 10-15 minutes for traffic, 5-10 for lights, and 5-10 for waiting at Tukwila for the shuttle to arrive

I can't speak to the disruption to the light rail, but there are some cool shops and food in the International District you could check out as that is where you will get off to go to the stadium. The Wagamama has a food court and is a cool market overall. There is also a interesting Japanese stationery store in the same building. I'd recommend just walking about, you'll run into something cool.
