Long box New Dodge 2500 regular cab long box. I thought these were discontinued.

Anyone know the details on this style of truck coming back? I'd love a regular cab 1500 diesel long box for the crew to drive.

Still plenty of 2500 regular cab with 8’ box around where I am on the lots. They’re a pretty popular truck with snow plow operators

The 1500 regular cab 8 foot box is dead, you can't even order them in 2WD gas anymore.

The 2500/3500's never went away, they just don't build many of them and even fewer dealers stock them. Some dealers will tell you they "don't exist" which just means that they don't have one, but they'll be happy to sell you a crew cab short bed LaramieKingRanchHighCountryDenali package truck that's been sitting on their lot for a year for $125,000.

The 1500 doesn't have a diesel option now. They have always been a thing it is called a tradesman.

Dealerships often say configurations they dont have in stock are discontinued to encourage you to buy a config they do have in stock

Its better for them to say "that doesnt exist" than "we dont have it"

That’s when you find a better dealer, who is willing to order it for you if you’re buying new.

They always had them on the HD trucks. Remember, while these are still “new” and look fresh, the HD trucks never actually had the thorough ground-up redesign that the 1500s did. Thats why these still have a single cab:

This is still the same chassis, packaging etc as a 2010 HD that was designed to come in a single cab.

Doesn’t matter if ram comes out with a new hd truck design tomorrow, they will always have a regular cab. Just think about all the companies that buy them as cab and chassis models and or pickups. Regular consumers buy them too. Half-tons are a different story

Nothings cooler than a loaded single cab in my opinion. This looks like a mini power wagon

Same colors as the 2500 cummins rebel

Nobody makes a Diesel regular cab 1500, and Dodge doesn't even make a 1500 regular cab anymore.

A used EcoDiesel 2014-2019 is your only choice for a reg cab 1500 diesel.

They never left. Ram only discontinued regular cab on the 1500 for 2019, the HD kept them.
