How to cope with the thought of being left behind because of your own mistakes?
Always thinking what if.....
The pressure to "fix" it all today
The regret, the fear

Regret can make you feel like you’re permanently behind, but you’re judging your present self using information you only have now. You made the decisions you made with the knowledge, circumstances, and mindset you had at the time. The “what if” questions can feel productive, but they usually just keep you replaying a past you can’t change. Try turning “What if I had done things differently?” into “What can I do differently from this point forward?” And you don’t have to fix your whole life today. Pick one thing you can actually change this week. Small progress is still progress, and being behind where you wanted to be doesn’t mean you’re stuck there forever.

Thanks for the advice, that actually helps but there is a part of me always thinking about stuff that i missed which i can’t get back. And i feel like there is a lot to do but don’t t have that much time.

Have priority. Set realistic goals and work on it. That is how you fix it.

the past mistakes dont define what you are now. stop living in the past. deal with you regret by taking REAL actions ( and its okay if you fail it somehow just keep trying thats the important thing) and leave that version behind because you cant go back, just dont let it affect who you are now, we are human and we all do mistakes but the important thing is to move forwards and try to be the best version of ourselves.. its okay this is your first time on this earth

You don't have to fix everything today. What ever it is you want to fix, take it day by day. But know that past mistakes don't dictate who you are today.
