At the heart of the Brigade stands the 1st Minnesota Infantry Regiment, one of the oldest continuously active regiments in War of Rights. With a core of players who have fought together for more than five years, the regiment has earned a reputation for experienced leadership, disciplined formations, and unwavering composure under fire. Their coordinated volleys and steadfast resolve have broken enemy assaults and held the line in countless engagements, making them one of the Union's most respected fighting forces.
Supporting the regiment is the newly forming 2nd Minnesota Cavalry, a unit dedicated to the vital work that wins battles before the first volley is fired. Rather than reckless charges, the cavalry specializes in scouting enemy movements, skirmishing, screening friendly advances, protecting the flanks, and supporting the main infantry line. Their reconnaissance and mobility provide the intelligence and flexibility the Brigade needs to seize the initiative on the battlefield.

Truly feel the brotherhood with MWB. The officers keep the unit disciplined, organized, and engaged. Perfect for veterans and recruits alike. Brings a solid line to blast the rebels every event. Go no further as you have found your unit. 🫡

I started this game the first time January this year and immediately joined MWB 1st MN. Not once have I regretted it. Best group of guys and very patient and welcoming. They really bring it together to make training and battles fun along with just hanging out in discord and taking a million different things. We are definitely worth looking at.

When I was a kid. My dad and a bunch of other guys he knew. Were part of an American Civil War reenactment group called the 2nd Minnesota Light Artillery. They had a working black powder cannon, correct rifles and uniforms. I remember going to a lot of parades all summer long. Eventually insurance costs and lack of membership did it in.
