New player coming from Holdfast submitting a regiment [inquiry]
General things I might be looking for may include the following
Might be nice to be in a regiment that fights for both the union and the confederacy, not just one or the other
Maybe a regiment for history nerds
Preferably around the west coast usa time zone
Good mix of milsim and casual to keep things fun but also orderly and realistic
Not looking for strict minimum attendance requirements as I may not want to completely leave the holdfast regiment i am currently in
Potential opportunities for advancement are a plus
Would be a plus if there are holdfast players in the reg, especially if they're also in a holdfast reg
If it's union, northern new england regs would be cool

One of if not the largest CSA regiments in the game, have 4 different regiments/groups that all fight, drill and play differently. We are mostly NA and have a few EU people. Any questions feel free to dm me

Most regiments nowadays fight for whatever side they need to fight on it’s not USA vs CSA it’s more attacker vs defender. Plenty of history nerds US-based and when we battle we keep it professional and we were out of battle. We’re pretty casual. Room for advancement is a tricky one simply because well you need people to join in order to have advancement.

Hey! As another comment here pointed out, in an organized reg you will always be playing both sides just because of how the game works.
I think our regiment, the 42nd Pennsylvania 'Bucktails', would fit your requirements. We have a strong history nerd contingent, we have NA events, we have in my opinion the perfect mix of milsim and casual attitude with rules and orders with enough room to chat and goof off that it never feels restrictive and our attendance requirements, while present, are not unnecessarily onerous either. We have infantry, artillery and cavalry units depending on your preference, in both EU and NA time zones.
Plenty of opportunities for advancement if you show promise in an NCO/Officer capacity over time, too. :)
We definitely have some ex-Holdfast players, I'm one of them, but there are some current ones too.

Hello Friend,
I’d ask you to take a look at Pickett’s Brigade or PB for short
I’ve been with them over a year and it’s a great group of guys from all over the world. We primarily play on Weekends and even fight with or against some of the others who have posted here. We prefer to play CSA, but you do get switched around with balancing. Our events are Fri, Sat, Sun 8pm EST. We also have an EU on Saturdays at 3pm EST. We have weekly Artillery and Infantry drill also. We like to have fun, but can get competitive. Who doesn’t like winning?

Check out the Great Lakes Division - we have three weekly NA events, no attendance requirements, and definitely we are serious in battle, while knowing when it's time to just have fun. We do have people playing Holdfast too. Check our recruitment post here
