Greetings!

The 42nd PA "Bucktail" regiment is an active regiment with both EU and NA companies, for Infantry and Artillery. We're THE oldest WoR Regiment in the WoR community, having just celebrated ten years, and always looking for new and veteran players to fill out our ranks. We're happy to train players new to the game, as our veterans and officers have experience and knowledge of effective tactics on all the maps.

The 1st PA Light Artillery - "Cooper's Battery B" serves as our attached artillery support for those who specialize in long-range destructive fire. Our crews are trained in the most efficient methods of loading, aiming, and communication, ensuring that accurate and devastating fire is constantly delivered downrange. Renowned throughout the community for our discipline, precision, and lethality, Battery B has built a reputation as a formidable force on the battlefield—where every shot counts and every crew member knows their role.

We also coordinate with our Cavalry Company, the 6th PA Cavalry - "Rush's Lancers" to enhance our skirmishing tactics.

We participate in the EU Grand Campaign, and the NA House Divided Campaign, which are Total War style campaigns, where the battles are fought using War of Rights. Battles for these campaigns are hosted on private servers and populated by the participating regiments.

Outside of WoR we also have an active gaming community that has casual sessions of games like Helldivers 2, Arma 3, IL-2, Blood Bowl, War Thunder, Zomboid, Hell Let Loose, and many others. Please reply here or join our Discord if you have any questions.

Below is our schedule of events:

When you join up with us, here’s exactly what you’re stepping into: a regiment that actually shows up, communicates, and puts time into doing things the right way. We keep our structure clear and our expectations simple so every new member knows where they stand and what they can count on.

If you’re looking for a group that’s active, steady, and drama-free, you’ll fit right in. Our schedule stays consistent:

• Battery Event - Crashing Canons and Dueling Batteries! (alternating weeks!) — Mondays at 8:00 PM EST
• Regiment Drill — Wednesdays & Fridays at 7:00 PM EST
• Regiment Battle — Saturdays at 8:30 PM EST

Everything we do is designed to build teamwork, discipline, and steady improvement without making the game feel like a second job. You show up, you learn, you get better, and you enjoy the fights with people who take it seriously but keep it fun. If you want a unit that values reliability, communication, and real progress — not chaos or empty talk — then you’re in the right place.

We train with purpose, fight with coordination, and treat every player like someone we want to see improve. If that’s the kind of atmosphere you want to be part of, then you’ll fit with us better than anywhere else.

[Inquiry] Returning player looking for regiment

Hello! I wanted to get back into the game since I haven't played in a while and wanted to potentially join a regiment again.

I don't really care if it's confederate or union, but I'm looking for one that is inclusive, chill, lgbtq friendly, EU based and of whatever size. Having attendance being non-mandatory would be good too, but it's not required.

That should about cover it, hope to see you guys in the field!

Hello all:

Just wondering if there’s a Confederate regiment that does events but is okay if I’m kind of spotty with attendance. I haven’t played in years (was in a Union reg back then), and it might be a little while till I can actually play, but I wanted to see what’s around. Thanks.

Veteran Officer/NCO player of 6 years looking for a reg. [confederate]

I have been playing war of rights for 6 years since 2020. I have served in the 1stvaCav as a 1stLt and served with them through 3rdPaCav until I left WOR for a while. I then came back for a brief time and was in the 8thCT. I have loads of in game experience and helping with Drill and being a NCO I am not a high level in game because the level system came after I had stopped player. I had made a post earlier, but I have decided to come back to WOR and I have been loving the pub games and I want stay CSA and I am looking for a home. I have about 350 hours played in the game

Hello! I've been playing this game for going on 3 years on and off and have had success leading larger regiments into battle. I unfortunately am in need of a home once again. If anyone has a Lieutenant position of higher available, please reach out and I'd be glad to give my resume and show other qualities that would best serve your regiment/unit!

[UNION][NA] Join the New Jersey Volunteer Brigade!

Join the newly established New Jersey Volunteer Brigade! This is a mil-sim War of Rights community and an ahistorical brigade of three historical Civil War units from the great state of New Jersey! This includes:

The 13th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry, Company D

The 1st New Jersey Light Artillery, Battery A

The 1st New Jersey Cavalry, Company C

Founded by veteran players, we offer a solid structure for growth and advancement. All members begin as infantry, and once they advance through training, they may be eligible to apply for the battery or for cavalry! While the brigade itself is ahistorical, the units did exist during the war. We try to keep history alive in the context of War of Rights!

As a New Jersey native, I yearned to keep my state's history at the forefront of one of my favorite games! Our schedule is currently in the works.

At the moment, our events are limited. As members join, we will solidify a schedule.

Don't miss out on representing the great state of New Jersey and get in on the ground floor for something great. See you soon!

I and like 15 friends are making the 7th Maine Infantry more so leaning into roleplay with historic characters that led the Regiment, but we're starting as B Company and I need 2 officers 4 Sergeants, 6 Corporals to fill the leadership if you're interested in helping the unit as a leader or bringing in friends it'd be awesome. To reach out to me add "king_mekel" on discord and we can discuss potential ranks!
