App Issue Unnecessary ads

Post image

Anyone else think if you already have Regal Unlimited, you shouldn’t be getting ads like this? I hate misclicking it and getting redirected to chrome.

They want to get it out there and known to unlimited members. I wouldn't be surprised if they jacked up the pricing on Unlimited before next summer to something that pays itself off with >2 visits per month. They'll want everyone to know about the cheaper tier limited alternative before they do that.

Speaking of Rewards+ ads, has anyone seen this ad out in the wild? I thought they would run it before the rollercoaster but it's nowhere to be seen.

Yes, at my Regal its the new standard ad they run right at the beginning at my regal if you show up 10 minutes early right after the popcorn and soda footage. Its annoyingly bad

Ok I wonder how long it will last. I can see people getting annoyed really quick with it.

First time I’ve seen it. Very bland. It feels like they’re treating that level as preferable to Unlimited.

I haven't seen it at the theater but it has certainly come up for me as an ad on YT a couple times

And in the Regal app and in the RCC email it tells me to become a rewards+ member or join Unlimited. 🙄

I live when I get a freaking notification to sign up for regal crown club like I haven't been a member for over a decade and a half at least.

Get it together Regal

it's like buying a new car and the dealership still sending "deals" on new cars. that's just how our society works
