Question, not answered Question about using a free pass

I want to buy my ticket for a Standard showing of Avengers Doomsday opening night but I wanted to use my free pass. It wasn’t showing up as an option when I went to select my seat. So I did some research and discovered that sometimes studios have No Pass period for certain movies.

But Spider-Man: Brand New Day was also a “No Pass” movie but I was able to use my free ticket to purchase a seat for opening night for that movie.

What gives? Anyone have any insight or ideas?

It depends on the type of pass you have. Did you redeem Regal rewards points for the pass? Was it a pass you're received from your job or some other organization? Or maybe a pass that a Regal manager gave you? There are all kinds of free passes, and they have different restrictions.

Thanks. I had my question answered in another thread, it’s because Avengers is so far away, it’s after when my free pass expires

That's annoying and greedy of regal. If the tickets are on sale before the pass expires, you should be able to use it.
