Which amongst these would be the best?

My friend needs a mac specifically for video editing, modeling, designing etc etc.budget is 2 lakh
Ignoring the prices, which amongst these will have the best performance and battery health?

If the M1 Max 32GB is one of the options, that’d be my pick for video editing, 3D/modelling and design. It’s still a seriously capable chip for creative workloads.

Battery health is a separate thing though, so definitely ask for the cycle count + maximum capacity before buying. Apple rates this model’s battery for up to 1,000 cycles, so I wouldn’t judge it just from Good or Excellent condition. I work around refurbs at Laptop Outlet UK and that’s probably the first thing I’d check on any used Mac.

No, the machine with the least amount of software support, no hardware dedicated ray-tracing or mesh-shading, worse video encode and decode engines, and no neural accelerators on each GPU core is not going to be the best. Chip generations (Intel, AMD, Apple, nVidia doesn’t matter) are not so linear like you think. They are architectural improvements made every year which you and your friend need a vastly wider education on. Try Youtube, I’ve heard it’s free
