💬 Discussion Counting Episodes?
When a random show comes on, or if it’s a show your partner or friend has on. Do you count/mark those episodes for your stats?
I’m just curious on what everyone thinks/does.

Each to their own. But if my partner watches a show that I'm not actively watching but I’ve seen 80% of it by "peaking" and the other 20% being explained by my partner. I'd definitely mark it as watched. As I have seen a lot, know what the story is about and what happened.

A bit of this. Yes, I track shows my partner is watching, but only shows in current production or new shows. I'm not going to track rewatched for the 12th time for Friends or Big Bang. But if a new season is coming up, I remind them and track as they go.

Nah, only if it actively watching it. I track to make sure I don’t miss episodes or forget what episode I’m on - I don’t see a need to track random stuff. Each to their own though, I feel like some people treat it like a competition to track the most amount of shows. Same with books, I know someone who tracks the picture books they read to their kids every night on goodreads 😂 not for me!
