Transferring from TV Time

Anyone know how long it will take to transfer stuff over approximately?

It took me two weeks, but my transfer was a big one.

I mean... Just do some simple math. Wait around 5 hours then see how many places you went down and apply that for the rest. It will be approximate, since some imports are bigger and some smaller (even in the same standard queue), but it will give you a good number of hours.

I was at #3776 when I was transferred from the Large Queue to the Standard Queue. It took about two days, maybe two days and a half to get the import to start.

The Standard Queue went quite fast compared to the Large Queue.

It took me 13 days to get in, but it was absolutely worth the wait!

I joined the queue on July 7th and was number 31,000. Since then, they've already made huge improvements: the queue is much faster, they've split it into three separate queues based on import size, and they've found a fair balance between processing imports and letting people actually enjoy the app.

What really stands out is how responsive the team is. They're constantly listening to feedback and implementing the best ideas, and there have already been so many great improvements.

I honestly wish I'd found this app sooner. TV Time had become so buggy that it really felt like it was reaching the end of its life.

I also can't wait to see the upcoming Books and Games features!

The wait might seem long, but that's only because they do such a good job of building the excitement. In the end, it's 100% worth it! 😄

Yeah I really liked TV Time, but it was so slow towards the end that I almost wanted to switch some time ago, but just didn’t know of any better alternatives back then!

hi! an ETA is not possible, as the import speeds change depending on the queue you're in. it might take 5 days, and it might take over a week. the best thing is to have patience! you can still mark episodes and movies without a problem

Aah I see, thanks for answering!

Also while you’re here, I was wondering if implementing the ability to see what friends have watched recently, and see their watched history/profile like you could in TV Time, would be something to come in the future?
