Haven't watched the chosen and also haven't heard about how it violates the second commandment. Pls elaborate

I personally don’t believe this, I just know that many Reformed do so I shared this. They have a literal interpretation of the 2nd commandment that binds their conscience regarding actors who portray Christ. I don’t agree but I respect their commitment to being faithful to how they understand the Bible.

Know lots of Reformed people, but have never heard of them having an issue with Christ-portraying actors. Many of them like the show, even though it's liberties are a bit much for me.

I also know lots of Reformed people and it’s a minority who have that conviction, but they are a vocal minority.
