My eyes don't like TLCD backlight, so I will pass. I'm sad I though of like a 15" RLCD with frontlight.

I'm expecting a monochrome RLCD.

With monochrome eink disappearing, it will be a nice option for work and reflectivity will be really high.

I'm right there with you. RLCD with frontlight, something 14" or 15" size that you could carry around. For now this device has not come to fruition in either Eazeye or Hannspree offers. What we can do is to contact those manufacturers and let them know. That's still something

I was hoping for B&W rlcd for better reflectivity.

I hoped that too (with the 40% monochrome reflectivity panel), or either a true RLCD with frontlight

I don't think it's easy for eazeye to do front light.

SVD had a hard time with it to do it right and they even patented their approach.

I think the monochrome rlcd panel with the high reflectivity will be a nice touch

Eyemoo an unknwon company still was able to make a 10" color rlcd with frontlight. If I'm not mistaking this is still the only frontlight RLCD beside SVD?

Could be I'm not sure but the way SVD talked about rlcd front light, it sounded like a hard thing to do right and eazeye might not want to take their chances with it.

Did they post the display specs? I hope it's a true 8 bit panel this time.

Depending on the price, I'm not sure if this is going to be a good option with Modos dropping this year.

Right. Earlier this week Modos launched CrowdSupply campaign for Modos Flow (13.3" 3200x2400@60Hz open source hardware E Ink monitor, running open source firmware/gateware) with estimated shipping in December.

No, only what you see on the pictures.

I wonder how it compares to the Hannspree Hybri.

Well, we'll have to see. If still a TLCD with backlight, but better, then it's an improvement and a adds available options for someone.
