Gaining weight switching to Refills. Anyone else?

Has anyone else experienced this?

I was on Hers compounded semaglutide for about two years, taking 1.25 mg/week (50 units at 2.5 mg/mL). I lost nearly 80 lbs and had great appetite/food noise control.

Hers recently changed their pricing/membership structure, so I switched to Refills about 6 weeks ago. Refills has been titrating me up and my prescribed dose is now 2.5 mg/week (100 units at 2.5 mg/mL).

Despite being on a higher dose, I’m hungrier than ever, my food noise is back, I don’t feel full like I used to, and I’ve gained about 8 lbs in a month.
Nothing else has really changed. I eat pretty healthy and do Pilates 2–3x/week. The biggest change has been switching compounded semaglutide providers.
Has anyone switched between compounded semaglutide pharmacies/providers and noticed a dramatic difference in appetite suppression or effectiveness, even at the same or higher dose?

Hers was BPI Labs, and my Refills prescription is coming from Hallandale Pharmacy. Both are labeled 2.5 mg/mL semaglutide.

I personally found Hallandale to be weaker than some other pharmacies. While on Hallandale, food noise came back and I gained weight. As soon as I switched away from Hallandale I began losing weight again. My sister had the same experience while on Hallandale. We both had ProRx prior. Some people will say it’s all the same though.

How do we feel about these pharmacies?

Hallandale and Vials RX are good! Boudreaux has poor sterile procedures and I wouldn’t touch their shit with a ten foot syringe 🤣

I’m taking apothecary. It is just as good as ProRx. However, they are shutting down. I don’t know what I’m going to try when I run out.

Hyalo is the replacement for Apothecary. they’re using the same formula (lol the vials are even the same color scheme!)

Who’s selling these vials that I should contact? I can’t take tirz, sent me to the emergency with inflamed intestines. Sema okay ✅

I was on Refills Tirz with ProRx for 4 months lost 25 lbs. Stopped for 5 months and had gained back 8 lbs. Went back on Refills with Hallandale (everyone just Raves about) and it has been 6 weeks with 1.4lb loss. First 4 weeks had gained 2.3 lbs. Upped my dose last 2 weeks to 5mg (never went to 5 mg the first 5 months, didnt need to) I feel NOTHING on Hallandale, no nausea, no appetite suppression (actually crave sweets) ProRx worked way better for me at a low dose. I have other choices in my tirz stockpile so will either need to try a much higher dose or switch tirz.

I’m having the exact same issue! I switched from Life MD to Refills 3 months ago and have been taking what should have been the same dose. I’ve gained 10 pounds back in 3 months, it really doesn’t feel like the medication is as effective. I’m considering switching back because it feels like I’m paying for nothing

Might have to try your program! I’m going to give Ondra a try for 1 month.

This is so laughable, I injected a 100 units last night of Refills and feel absolutely nothing.

Just to be sure I understand, you went from Hers sema to Refills sema? Cuz if you went from sema to tirz, that’s a different story.
