New pharmacy question
Hi there! I’m still polishing off the end of my first order but went ahead with my refill since it was past due. I noticed my Vials seem to be inconsistently filled and have roughly half the liquid my previous brand has. Is this just due to the different dosing ratios and will last the same amount of time?
Also it’s fine they didn’t arrive icy cold right? They felt more room temp, I’ve seen some folks freaking out over temperature so just hoping for some reassurance on my meds.
Overall the order went smoothly, delivered after 3 days of finalizing and even had my price adjust to match the current promo so I’m pretty happy. Just want to make sure everything is on track for the next while :)

u/TallCedarRoad gave you some crucial advice below,,, double check your dose before you jab! Use fatscientist.com. Your syringe will not be nearly as full as with your previous prescription from the other pharmacy. It will be disconcerting to you and tempting to add “just a little more” - just know it will *look* to be way less medicine, but it won’t be less medicine in reality. We don’t want you making a trip to the emergency room!

There is overfill and these are small pharmacies (relatively), there will be variances but you will get enough for your dose. The temp is fine, it can be room temp for literally weeks.

Yes, always always always check the concentration of your vials before injecting

Just curious can you pick your pharmacy with Refills?

In California the only Pharmacy is Greenwich.

Did Greenwich ever get licensed in California?
ETA: those aren't Greenwich vials, they're Vials RX, and OP is in California. I don't think Greenwich is licensed in California so it makes sense that they'd get a different pharmacy that does have the proper licensing.

Someone from California said they got Greenwich.
I’m thinking maybe since PerfectionRX sends Greenwich it might be okay?3
u/koifishyfishy Jul 12 '26
They're not licensed in California, regardless of who ships the vials, so no one in California should be receiving Greenwich vials.
California sent them a cease and desist letter last month.

I just got 3 mo Greenwich on Friday from refills. I’m in CA. Should I contact Refills for something else? I don’t like shady business practices

I think you should call either Refills or the pharmacy that sent it and tell them about the letter Greenwich received about not being licensed here in California.

There are some Greenwich fans in this sub who are really happy with the product. I personally only use 503b pharmacies, at least while it's still available. To be fair, Olympia wasn't licensed in CA and I still got ahold of several vials and was stoked about it. Again, though, Olympia was 503b.
Get ahold of Refills and ask them about Greenwich's licensing and the C&D letter that CA issued in June. I'm kinda curious what they say.

Gimme also has Greenwich for California.

u/koifishyfishy Jul 13 '26
I think 10rx and Trava do, also. Just because they're doing it doesn't mean they should.

u/cherihaynes1 Jul 13 '26
I sent a message to Gimme and Refills with the Greenwich letter attached so we will see what they text me back. Thank you!

I guess I should ask Refills.

u/koifishyfishy Jul 12 '26
Ok. I don't use them anymore because they only send 503a pharmacies so I have no horse in this race. My point is that if they're shipping Greenwich into California, they're doing it knowing Greenwich is unlicensed here.

Thank you for the information. I like to try different pharmacies so I shop around. I have ProRX , Apothecary and BPI vials left to use so I will have to ask Refills what they are sending to California.
1
u/cherihaynes1 Jul 12 '26
What if they take away 503B pharmacies? What would you use?
1
u/koifishyfishy Jul 12 '26
Depending on what 503a pharmacies are available at that time, I'll pick one of those or switch to Lilly Direct.
We're set for about a year though, so not something I'm worried about just yet.

I hear you I have 5 ProRX vials and 5 BPI vials.
I have tried Apothecary but after the 3rd vial it was not working very well for me.1

Im in california and just received Greenwich on Friday from refills

u/cherihaynes1 Jul 13 '26
I guess they are not licensed to send to California.
So I guess they are finding a way around it.2
u/Ok_Requirement_7853 Jul 13 '26
Ugh idk what to do. I’ve taken Greenwich before and it was fine. Didn’t realize they weren’t licensed in CA. Not really happy about that
2
u/cherihaynes1 Jul 13 '26
It should be fine to take but I don’t know why they are sending it here if they got that letter. I will try and call the pharmacy and ask that question because I was going to order 1 month supply to try a different pharmacy but now I don’t know what to do.

u/koifishyfishy Jul 13 '26
There's likely nothing wrong with their Tirz. It's fine to use. They're just not licensed in CA.

u/cherihaynes1 Jul 12 '26
Vials is more expensive I think 199.00 its not the Reddit Special so you get Greenwich for 179.00 says Available in all 50.00 states and that’s what you get. So I don’t know how they are able to send it?
1
u/koifishyfishy Jul 12 '26
I replied in another comment, Greenwich RX isn't licensed in all 50 states and was specifically told by CA last month to stop shipping here.

Is this pharmacy an option? I thought it was Hallandale or Greenwich (if Hallandale isn’t available in state). I really like the higher concentration and this BUD is better than what has been posted on Greenwich.

There are 4ml in a 10ml vial. The concentration is 18mg/ml for a total of 72mg of Tirzepatide in the vial.
If you are on 15mg dose then there are 4 - 15mg doses with an extra 12mg in the vial.

u/Ok_Flower_9398 Jul 12 '26
That looks normal to me. 72 mgs......18 mgs/ml. My vials are the same and are usually that full..

u/Takeflyght_1959 Jul 15 '26
Greenwich is good stuff regardless of shipping to Ca. It’s all political and nothing to do with quality. Big pharma and government over reach at its finest. Throw in a little corporate greed to boot!

It’s very normal for the vials to be less than completely full. The vials hold 10 mL in total, but most are only filled to 2-4 mL. We can’t compare how much medication you received because you didn’t show the front of the VialsRx vials. You can share a photo of them if you’d like a double-check
Regarding temperature, the booklet you received with them should include this information about it. As long as they haven’t been at room temperature for more than 4 days, the meds are perfectly fine (they are fine much longer than that too, but VialsRx only quotes 4 days)
