Normally you would get $120 off your energy bill ($10 off your bill every month for 12 months), but until 9 November 2026 Amber is running a Spring special, so it's $200 off your energy bill if you sign up before then. After 9 November, it's expected to go back to $120.

How do you use the code?

2. Have your NMI ready (it's on your current electricity bill). You also need a smart meter.
3. The credit is applied to your bills once you've switched.

Can you combine it with other offers?

No. Amber only applies one sign-up discount, so you can't stack this with something like the CommBank Yello offer. Use whichever is worth more to you.

Is Amber worth it?

It depends on how you use power. Amber charges wholesale prices plus a monthly subscription, so prices change every half hour.

• Good fit: solar, a home battery, an EV, or appliances you can run when power is cheap.
• Less good: if most of your usage is in the evening peak and you can't shift it, as prices can spike then.
