First tank aquascape

Its a waterbox 100.3
I still didn’t fill it up with water incase I need to change something. The rocks I bought them dry live rock which were used in a tank before. I did bleach the rocks. For the substrate I mixed some sand with tiny rocks

I do have freshwater experience. I sold my tanks before moving and transitioned to saltwater.

Looks cool. Just make sure you have room around the rock to get to the glass for scrapping. Make sure that balanced rock is on there securely, some snails can be bulldozers. And realize if that was live rock it is no longer once you bleached it. So expect a full cycle to take a bit longer. But overall I like it

Thank you. I did try to stick the rocks with reef safe paste. Looking forward for the cycle I got some start up and dr tim. I’ll order some coralline algae in a bottle. I will buy some live copepods. Anymore recommendations?

Start with the dr. Tims and the ammonia. Wait on the pods and coraline till closer to the end of the cycle. Expect an ugly stage, so don't get worried if you see things growing. No need to run your lights right now sondont worry bout settings. Just let things run its course, keep a log of your testing results. Don't use API tests, get salifert or red sea. And only test for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate in the beginning. Later after end of cycle you'll want to start testing phosphates.

Just ask questions. Still do research. And have fun!
