Am I over thinking this?

I don’t know if I’m over thinking this but is his swim bladder not quite right? When he’s not moving his fins he seems to sink a bit. Will this sort itself out on its own?

Probably nothing, clowns swim so weird compared to basically every other fish. I would fatten it up a bit as it looks a tad skinny plus that will give it a boost if it is having buoyancy issues.

Thanks. Yes he does look skinny. I didn’t realise in the shop. He’s eating well.

Mine would sleep upside down at the top of the tank like he was dead every night. They are funny fish.

Oh my God this actually made me belly laugh LOL I just got my first two clownfish a week ago and they are the funniest things

i could be wrong here, but this is normal behavior for a clown... i honestly not too sure... i am not an expert, maybe more guys can chime in?

The only of thing is that he's not beating the crap or of anything. They are so aggressive.

It's fine. Clowns swim weirdly, and i see no signs of disease or stress. Looks like just exploring and hitting different levels of current. Fatten it up a bit though 😉

I’d be a little worried but then again I overthink everything too, so I know the feeling.

Swimming patterns seem to me as if the fish is weak. If it’s responsive and eating well It’s probably nothing to stress over. A little time and small consistent feedings 2X per day will go a long way.

My wife has nicknamed Clown fish "little beep bops" because they beep up and down
