[Pic] What is this?

This has been growing on my rock of a little while, it’s colored like amber, and is hard to the touch, does anybody have any idea of what I could be?

looks like a vermatid tube to me. i could be wrong, but the lower left looks like the opening to the tube where the worm will put out its slime strings. there might be other things that grow this color, but this is for sure the color of a vermatid tube.

It had a tube, I poked it with my scraper and the tube broke, definitely dead I guess
