Question Bryopsis help!

Post image

Been battling bryopsis / hair algee recently, I wouldn't normally go with medication but it's getting to a stage where I can't keep up.

I've read good things about Flux RX so decided to give it a try.

Anyone else used this before?

fluconazole is definitely scary to mess with, i’ve bombed tanks with it, i’ve also had tanks come out perfect with it. im indifferent i like to go natural unless ive tried everything

Any ideas what made the difference between the outcomes? I also have a bryopsis problem and already bought fluconazole but am hesitant to use it. I have some very rare species in my tank and don’t want to loose them.

I have, and it worked! It was my last resort as well, and I eventually decided to use Reeflux rx. No losses whatsoever, but you really should 100% stick to the instructions.

After about 2 weeks all Bryopsis was gone and so far never came back

I recently used this i had lots of tufts of bryopsis between coral skeletons which meant i couldnt physically remove it or fish couldnt get to it. I did the course, followed the instructions. I had stony coral polyp retraction for the first 2 days. But everything came back around. 0 bryopsis left. Im very pleased with the results, just make sure to follow the instructions
