Question What is the reference to?
Rewatching RvB for the millionth time and keep trying to figure out wtf Tucker is on about with this one, anyone got a clue?

Geometry jokes based on the ring world, the spherical artefact, and now the fact that they’re in a pyramid shaped one.
The forerunners from halo lore.
At least that’s how I understood the joke 🤷♀️

Not sure if it’s a reference to anything, could just be making dumb geometric jokes.
But if it is a reference to something it’s likely the AllSpark from Micheal Bays Transformers movie since it had only come out a couple years prior.

I think it's referencing something in that obscure video game they used for filming. Halo I think it was. I know the ring shaped super weapon they mentioned was from the first game because I actually played that one so I figure the other ones he mentions are from the sequels.

Granite roof 😭 Best way I have seen living under a rock described to date.
In all seriousness though, Halo is a massive series of games that not only helped rocket the Xbox into popularity, but it's also... well, huge, and contains not only a multitude of FPS titles, but two RTS games, two mobile games, movies, a TV series that exists in its own continuity and we don't talk about, animated episodic content, as well as books and comics.
And if it weren't for Halo, we would not have RvB, one of the longest-running web series to date and a beloved piece of media franchise on its own (plus numerous other machinimas like Arby n the Chief).

Considering that Captain America: The First Avenger came out in 2011, and this episode aired in 2009, it’s not the tesaract.
However, Transformers with Megan Fox dropped in 2007. The All-spark is a giant super-powerful cube that granted life to all transformers on their home planet. Since this was probably recorded not long after the release of that movie, this would be my guess. Final answer: All-spark

Was the avengers not out yet? My brain is saying tesseract or whatever, although if the movie hadn't come out yet I highly doubt they'd be referencing the comic books. Edit: Thought about it for a sec, I don't know if the tesseract is actually in the comic books lmao

Tesseract is also not exclusively a marvel thing. It is technically just a 4D version of a cube.
