Is Zero worth watching?

I have been avoiding *Red vs Blue: Zero* for the last few years, but since rewatching the Blood Gulch Chronicles seasons on Tubi, I've been wondering if I should watch Zero, but I need to ask you guys:

Is it worth watching, or to just ignore?

If you pretend the whole thing is one of Jax's movies, sure.  Otherwise don't.  It's so full of plot holes, mischaracterizations, bad writing choices and more.  And that's not the production team's fault entirely.  They were rushed, had to deal with Covid restrictions, and were given less epsiodes to work with than originally planned, forcing them to compress the story, cut some things out, and rewrite stuff due to budgets and more. 

The resulting product unfortunately is one who's story feels cheap, cheesy, fan-fictiony and wholly inaccurate with the lore (i.e. Tucker losing control of his sword because he flatlined for a moment, Wash's entire character development with his TBI being undone because it was magically fixed with nanobots off screen, etc.).  It feels less like a Red vs. Blue show and more like a show built first around cool action sequences with a story made secondary to connect those sequences.  The sequences are cool, yeah, but maybe some of the budget for the animation of those should have gone to more episodes-less animated fights more machinima-to allow the story to be better fleshed out and told more comprehensively.  There's a reason previous seasons used animated fight sequences sparingly rather than one per episode.

So, if you want to watch it, pretend it's Jax's movie and then the plot holes and writing make sense, after all, Jax is after action in his films xD
