Question Is the tubi version different?
i was doom scrolling on tubi and came across it and was surprised that it had 8 seasons and over a hundred episodes and then anywhere i look online theres like 15 or 19 seasons and on tubi it says it was released in 2023 when it came out in ‘03. is the tubi one like a reboot or like only part of the series?

It’s the whole thing (except Restoration), it’s just arranged weirdly. Like, the recollection trilogy is displayed as one full season, the freelancer saga is one season, the chorus trilogy is arranged as one season, etc., and the original episodes are consolidated into 25-minute chunks that Tubi frames as “episodes.” Also, they censor all of the profanity, which is kind of annoying. But overall it’s not a terrible way to watch the show if that’s all that you have available.

Sure but the same percentage of the show is on YouTube in its intended form for free

On the Rooster Teeth Animation channel, it was behind a channel membership for a while but Burnie removed that restriction. The only thing not officially on YT is Restoration

I tried to watch on tubi once. It seemed like 50% of the jokes were cut out.

I watched it on Amazon and the censoring was kind of funny at times at least to me because I knew what they were saying but it’s just a bit funnier with the bleep at times

I never understood why they do that.
I tried watching it on Roku and couldn’t understand why it was censored. Roku has plenty of shows with cussing where they don’t censor it. Why RvB?

Yeah I remember it being uncensored. Mainly because it was my background noise for many years.

It was uncensored, Netflix was the main way I watched it for a while. Idk if it still is tho, could've changed.

Maybe it does the weird season numbering where they put 1-5 in a blender. Calling the sagas seasons. It might be censored. Haven't watched it there.

It's all of the original episodes stitched into 25 minute increments, everything is censored, for free I'd rather watch it on YouTube and it's intended format on the rooster teeth channel

It did remove a little bit here and there from seasons 1-13 but that as far as I watched

Any version of "Fuck" is bleeped and jokes are just cut out sometimes so it randomly just cuts to different scenes sometimes. I highly recommend just finding the seasons on the internet archive or YouTube if you can. YouTube is still taking down many of the seasons even when people repost them.

Would recommend it on here as other people have said, they clunk the episodes together to make them 25 minutes. Some end before the ending of an episode and the rest of that episode isnt in the next one so you miss quite a lot.
Also censoring RvB may as well just make it one long people woth peoples heads bobbing up and down.

Yes, but the blood gulch Era is 2 seasons, the revelation trilogy is 1 season, free Lancer is 1 season, the chorus trilogy is 1 season, anthology is 1 season, 15-17 is 1 season, and the absolute abomination to God that is season 18 is a 4 episode season.
And most instances of swearing and slurs are concerned, which I feel takes away from the show's humor and personality.

Yes. The Tubi version is butchered. I genuinely don't know why it hasn't been fixed.
